Thank you for your interest in The Grammar School. The following steps will guide you through the application process. Please note that as part of our sustainability initiative, The Grammar School asks that all applicants use our online forms. Please do not hesitate to contact the Admissions Office at (802) 387-5364 ext. 105 with any questions.
All prospective parents and their children who wish to receive an admissions packet, schedule a school visit, receive invitations to events, and apply to The Grammar School should submit an online inquiry form.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org to set-up a visit. Ideally, the parents should visit the school first to determine whether TGS provides the right educational environment for their children.
After the parent visit takes place, and if it is determined that TGS is an appropriate option for their child, a date will be scheduled for the child to spend a full day with his or her current grade class.
Preschoolers may spend up to half a day at TGS. The day is scheduled to be a relaxed opportunity for children to get to know TGS.

The Grammar School operates on a rolling admissions basis. Please review the How to Apply for Financial Aid and associated deadlines for new student financial aid.
Prospective families will find the Records Release and Teacher Recommendation forms below. Please note that if your child is applying for 7th or 8th grade, there are two recommendation forms to be completed. All forms are also attached to the online application.
Please hand the teacher recommendation form to your child’s current teacher. Instruct the teacher to send the form, upon completion, directly to The Grammar School.
Please hand the Records Release form to your child’s principal or guidance counselor for completion. The school will forward your child’s information to The Grammar School.
